"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘'Amongst the Vines Retreat'. Staying with friends we mostly enjoyed sitting in the little gazebo watching the sunset over the vineyards while sharing the cheese platter and the Blewitt Springs wine that was waiting for us when we arrived. The house was spotlessly clean and loved the fresh flowers. Our breakfast was very well thought out and certainly plenty for our group. Highly recommend staying here. And a tip to use the services of Trevor the local cabbie!"
"This was a beautiful home away from home for a weekend away. Every detail was carefully considered for a wonderfully accommodated stay, and the breakfast provisions exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect - far away enough from everything for some country serenity, but close enough to McLaren Vale that getting around to wineries was easy (would highly recommend pre-booking any transport!)."
"What an amazing place to stay in the heart of McLaren Vale. From the moment we drove up the driveway, we knew we have chosen the perfect place to stay. The home itself, feels like your own home. Nothing was left to chance and everything has been thoroughly thought of. The provision in the fridge and the complimentary wine were beyond expectations - I'd strongly recommend buying their wine also. The home is perfectly positioned to explore all the vineyards and restaurants in the local area. Whilst there are plenty of positives (and no negatives), the stand out for us was breakfast on the front balcony, the sun rising to your left, looking out of the vineyards while the rosellas, lorikeets and black cockatoos played in the trees nearby."
"From the moment we first booked & communication began with Nina we knew we had found a special place. Arriving at the house we were blown away by how magical this place is. Stunning property, beautifully presented house with everything we could need & more. Nina made sure the house was nice & warm when we arrived and coming from WA & QLD both couples were so grateful for just these little touches that made our weekend so special. The fireplace was a house highlight for us. The breakfast provisions were so generous and we enjoyed a home cooked breakfast each day and didnt need to buy anything for the house. It is in the best location each day we explored and it was not too far to find what we needed. We feel so lucky & fortunate to have had the chance to stay at Amongst the vines and we can not wait to come back again."
