"A receptionist staff chased me down inside the chemist across the clinic mortified me for not paying the iron treatment I was about to have. I was in the middle of my purchase transaction with the chemist to get the iron medicine that the nurse asked me to buy…So I went back inside to the clinic to find out what’s wrong why was I being treated like that! I explained that the nurse sent me to buy the medication first before she give me the iron infusion no apologies being express from the two women. So I asked if it’s okay for me to go back and collect the medication I left in the pharmacy for my treatment and the lady Michelle said yes. After my treatment I express myself to the staff who chases me how I felt about the way I was treated and she was rude and very dismissive and said I was only doing what I was told, so I asked who’s the operation manager to speak to in regards of my concerns and she told me go speak to Michelle. She happened to be the manager and I told her how I felt about her bad decisions of sending her staff to chase after me it very mortifying for me being treated like that she was also rude and dismissive and worse was that I was stereotyped by other people. I said to her that she should’ve ask the nurse first before sending her staff to treat me that way. Maybe because I am Asian descent. I hope the head office of this clinic if there’s one should look into maintaining professionalism of their staff in regards to talking to patients with respect."

"I am a visitor to the Gold Coast and injured my hand just after arriving at the hotel. After some first aid by staff, we all agreed that it should be checked by a doctor. This was the closest medical centre, and I popped in and explained my situation. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and said that they could fit me in, but it was $90 upfront with about $42 back from Medicare. I had to fill out some paperwork but only had a short wait. I saw Dr John Wilson, who greeted me with a smile, listened to what had happened and did a quick, but thorough examination. He recommended an xray to be safe. He was very professional and friendly at the same time. He also was comfortable working with an Auslan interpreter, as I am Deaf and it's rare to find anyone who is so comfortable with the interpreter. This would be a great practice for residents in the area. They were especially nice and helpful to an accident prone tourist in need. Thank you for the great service."

"I’ve been seeing Dr Jeffery four plus years. I like how he explores other options instead of just writing a script. I can usually get an appointment within a day or two which is way better than other practice wait times. I also take my mum there now (she hadnt seen a GP in 15 odd years) he has made a huge impact on her health and I’m so grateful. I’ve also seen the other doctor who is great too. The nurse is great and always helps me with plans I need and goes beyond basic to ensure I get what I need. The receptionists are always helpful and polite too. Before when they bulk billed there were really long wait times (which tells me people over booking for unnecessary reasons) but I always waited cause Dr is worth it. now they run on time most times. I highly recommend this practice."
