"We organised travel insurance with NIB through STI for a skiing holiday in Japan in February this year. We had purchased domestic flights in Japan that were non-refundable and non-changeable. When our inbound flight into Tokyo was changed, it meant that we were unable to use those domestic flights and had to purchase new flights. NIB covered the costs of these new flights and we had the refund in our account only a few days after submitting our claim, despite a warning that there may be a delay due to a high number of other claims at the time. We couldn't be happier with the service both from NIB and STI, who I have used several times and will continue to use for all travel insurance needs."

They were unreachable by phone and when it come to making a claim they were no help. The claim was unsuccessful so I was $1,600 out of pocket and the $280 that it cost me for insurance on top of that. Absolute waste of $280."
