"I have taken two 4x4 vehicles to Oz West Automotive, and I must say it's not the best workshop in the city for this type of cars. First, I brought in a Toyota Prado, and they advised me to change the spark plugs. After the replacement, the car lost power, and the price was slightly above average. The staff was friendly, and I thought it was worth supporting the local Latino community. So, I decided to take my second car, a Nissan Patrol, to them as well, as it was experiencing steering wheel tremors and unusual sounds when turning. The staff attentively attended to me and inspected the car. However, they seemed a bit uncertain while trying to identify the issue. Eventually, they advised me to replace the bushes and charged me $125 just for the inspection. They provided a quote of nearly $1100 for changing 8 bushes. This prompted me to seek a second opinion from an Australian-run workshop. At the new workshop, they offered to replace all 12 bushes with genuine Nissan parts for just over $700. Additionally, they explained that the bushes were not the root cause of the steering wheel tremors. This discrepancy raised doubts about the accuracy of Oz West Automotive's diagnosis and pricing. If you need basic services like oil changes or maintenance for small cars and prefer Spanish communication, Oz West Automotive may suffice. However, if you own a 4x4 vehicle, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more specialized and reliable service. Overall, my experience with Oz West Automotive was a mix of positives and negatives. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, their expertise and pricing for 4x4 vehicles left much to be desired."

"Vey friendly lad however after going there 3 times for the same problem and almost $300 later my aircon still wasn’t fixed. I was told that if i ordered a part again (for the second time) and pay an additional $380, my car would be fixed for good, which i was willing to do if the job was going to be finally done. But when i asked for the part to be ordered i only received the answer of “it is out of stock” - no other options given or “we will let you know when the part is back in stock” - i thought this was very unhelpful, and poor customer service and i just lost my initial $300 as my car still isn’t fixed. Disappointing to say the least."
