During your first appointment, our specialist and team will conduct a thorough history and examination, including a comprehensive review of your medical and dental records. If necessary, we may also obtain imaging, clinical photographs, and study models. Following this examination, the specialist will discuss your diagnosis and work with you to create a treatment plan that meets your specific needs and preferences. Subsequent appointments will be scheduled accordingly.

While we strive to run on time, we occasionally accommodate urgent cases, which may cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and ask that you allow at least an hour for your consultation to ensure we can provide the best care possible.

Please note that a current referral from your Medical or Dental Practitioner is required before your visit to ensure optimal care for your specific case. While prior imaging is not necessary, if you have had any previous scans or imaging, we kindly request that you provide us with copies of the reports. Please be aware that we do not offer imaging services on-site, and if further imaging or investigations are required, you will be referred accordingly.

At Perth Oral Medicine & Dental Sleep Centre, we offer a range of personalized treatment options to address your needs. These may include exercises, oral appliance therapy, physiotherapy, counseling, biopsy, injectables, laser therapy, sleep devices, medication (including botulinum toxin), and surgery if necessary.

Prior to your appointment, please complete and sign the New Patient Form, which can be submitted online or emailed back to us. We also kindly request that you bring any existing oral appliances, previous consultation, biopsy, and imaging reports with you.
