About the Business
Welcome to Saint Joseph's School, a vibrant and inclusive Catholic Primary School located in Queens Park, Australia. Established in 1915 by the Mercy Order of Sisters, our school has a rich history rooted in the values of justice, compassion, tolerance, peace, and forgiveness.
At Saint Joseph's, we are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Our dedicated staff members uphold the traditions of the Mercy Order, ensuring that every individual in our community feels cared for and valued.
As a faith sharing community, we have close links with the parish, and the Sacramental Program is coordinated in collaboration with the school. Our students have the opportunity to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation at key stages of their spiritual journey.
With modern facilities that were rebuilt 10-12 years ago, Saint Joseph's offers an excellent learning environment for our students. We are proud to have specialist teachers in Performing Arts, Physical Education, Italian, Library, Science, and Visual Arts, providing a well-rounded education that fosters creativity and personal growth.
Recognizing the importance of technology in today's world, we provide our students with a 1:1 iPad program from Year Three onwards, preparing them for their future in a digital age. In the Early Years, shared devices are available for collaborative learning experiences.
We warmly welcome new families to join our community and encourage parental involvement through our active Parents & Friends committee. Not only do they organize fundraising activities, but they also create opportunities for community building events that strengthen the bonds between families.
At Saint Joseph's, we believe in the importance of continuing education beyond primary school, and we support and encourage parents to consider St Norbert College for their child's secondary education.
We are always seeking passionate volunteers who are willing to shape the future of our school. If you are interested in becoming involved in our Parents & Friends committee or lending a helping hand, we would love to have you as part of our team.
In summary, Saint Joseph's School is a faith community dedicated to recognizing and responding to the image of Christ in all of us. Through our work and prayer, we strive to foster a love for learning, compassion for others, and a strong sense of community. Join us on this journey of faith and education at Saint Joseph's School.

"Andrea your Admin is absolutely (trying to put in in good words) not a good person** I doubt your able to train young generation good ethics when you can’t train your staff to be polite enough to the parents of potential students!"
"We have been waiting for six years now and both my children have not entered the school. My son has been waiting for six years and still hasn’t got in even though other people who have admissioned after him still get in. Also, the receptionist is extremely rude to me and acts as if she owns the school. She disrespects me and thinks too highly of herself. I am really disappointed of this school and need an answer why such disrespect is showed."
"Absolutely brilliant school with an amazing staff cohort. It is always a pleasure to work collaboratively with St Joe's."
"It wasn’t too good here. The students can be mean and usually everyone breaks the school rules. There are people who never tell if someone breaks a school rule and there are also people who just find the tiniest thing to tell the teachers about. The worst part were the “cool girls”. Some people just don’t have high enough standards to hang out with them. I used to be friends with one and she had another best friend too. Turns out that her best friend though I was trying to mess their friendship up. And don’t get me started on how alone I was. My ex-best friend was talking behind my back. I knew this but I was so alone that I just wanted to stay with her because she was the only person I had. It’s sad knowing that I’ll never be able to have another go at being a student in a nice primary school."
"Love this school, they don't tolerate bad behavior. Good structure. Teachers and students are awesome.. Led by an inspiring Principle."
