"This SALON EXPRESS is located in Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre. There is NO NEED to book for an appointment. It is a WALK-IN Salon. My first time as a customer. I came on a Tuesday 01/08/23. I was told a week before by one of the staff to come on a Tuesday, Seniors Day. I get 10% discount. So, I came last Tuesday. I want a colour change on my hair. The staff were very friendly, with a nice and warmed smiles. The salon is very spacious. Nice and neat. Inside the salon was a perfect warmed temperature just what customers need being cold winter. The young lady staff looking after me, was so quick in colouring my hair then wait for the colour to set. Then next was to shampoo and washed my hair. Then towel dry my hair. I thought the last thing the young lady hairdresser would do to my hair is to blow dry it. But she said to me that the boss told her instead of blow dry, she would blow dry wave my hair for free. WHAT??. I was pleasantly SURPRISED. That costs roughly $40.00. I was so happy. All the LADY STAFF were really good. The end result of my new hair colour was fantastic. I love it. I will be a REPEAT CUSTOMER from now on. Thank you SO MUCH ... SALON EXPRESS LADIES in COCKBURN GATEWAY SHOPPING CENTRE, WESTERN AUSTRALIA."

"I had Ashleigh as my hairdresser and she was so lovely! She absolutely nailed the haircut I wanted and was so friendly to chat to! She made my experience at salon express 5 stars! Would absolutely recommend getting a hair cut with her!!"

"Went to try get a haircut at 9.05 am, told there would be a 30-45min wait, that's fine, didn't take my details, came back and was told oh another 60 mins, we can fit you in til 11.15 because you don't have a booking because no one took my details in the first place? Was met with the limpest apology I've ever heard. Maybe train your staff on the proper procedure, it's really not that hard."

"I went it at 4pm to get a full head of foils and one of the ladies was about to turn me away but the “manager” for the day told me to come through. They had 2 girls doing my hair and half way through the “manger” started complaining about working overtime to finish my hair and how she couldn’t turn me away and i was sitting right there i felt so uncomfortable after that. I love how my hair came out, but will not be returning due to how uncomfortable she made me feel. Not to mention she was talking bad about her coworkers the whole entire time. Not impressed leave that stuff to when when the customer is not around."

"I got my haircut yesterday and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I have been going here more often in the last year for a trim and have left the last 2 times happy, confident and loving my hair. Yesterday is not one of those times. I ask for a cut to just below my shoulders and no full layering (only so it wouldn't look blunt at the ends) The woman, I don't know her name as she never told me, showed me how much she was to cut and I was happy with that. She then began cutting and cutting more than what we agreed on. Once I asked her to stop taking so much length off she told me she was putting in the layers. She was rough and didn't put much care into it. I told her I didn't want layering throughout as I still need to put it up from time to time, to which she grabbed my hair tightly and held it tightly to the back of my head and said 'you still can put it up. it is fine. it will grow eventually' Once finished she took the cape off and left the hair on the cape which flung all throughout my bag. I left nearly in tears due to the roughness on my scalp, the rudeness of the hair stylist and the fact I left with hair I absolutely hate with my wedding hair trial next month. The last two times were great but this has made me decide to not return."
