"Wonderful staff at desk and brilliant Drs who follow through and Care about their patients"
"I have been seeing Dr Bello for the last 1&half years as my permanent GP. I have found him to very compassionate & knowledgeable to my illness. Reception staff are very friendly & nurses are great. Also great emergency service. Thank you FRMC"
"To not bore you with my long story (which you can find below) I will factually sum up why this medical centre is a terrible place. 1. Both Dr Bello & Dr Orundami are terribly unfriendly. When people feel sick, they want to feel heard, understood and be cared for. This can lead to catastrophic results for people with mental illness. 2. I waited 2 times for more than 30 minutes in the waiting room. What is the point of making an appointment if my time does not get respected anyway? 3. My mental health care plan was not filled out on the first visit, which resulted in a 230$ out of pocket appointment with my psychologist. apparently 2 appointment's are necessary for getting it filled out at Farrington road medical centre. 4. The receptionist was clueless about nearly everything because she only works there once a week, she also made me make my own medicare claim for the appointment. The full story : 2 weeks ago I had a panic attack, which lasted for nearly 2 hours, It was the most horrifying experience I've ever been trough. The following week I felt mixed feelings of depression, anxiety, nauseousness and sadness. Now 10 days later I luckily feel close to normal again. I am a 27-year-old non-smoking individual who exercises regularly, barely drinks and eats relatively healthy, I've always felt mentally okay and never experienced anything like this. Now as a reader you don't care about me, which is normal and okay, the reason I say this, is because it was a terrible experience to have Farrington road as my "support" through this tough time. The doctors have no skills to make a client feel relax, safe and cared for. They also refused to fill out the mental health plan because "It would take too much time". I already had an appointment with a psychologist booked in the next day, so now I ended up paying this out of pocket. $230 which would normally be be paid back 50% by medicare. Thank you Farrington road medical. It's not because on the outside I look healthy, that I am actually feeling well. I didn't get asked if I was suicidal, needed mental health assistance, or got recommended a psychotherapist. He suggested a 2nd appointment over the phone to fill out the medical form, so we planned it at 11.30 the following week. I didn't get a call until after 12.30. It's just the one thing after another. Today, 2 weeks later, fortunately I am feeling well again, and have more understanding of what people with mental illness go through, however the Farrington road medical centre didn't contribute anything to that, In fact they did the opposite, they caused me more stress. Mental health is not a joke, strong support is necessary and failure to do so can have a catastrophic impact on the person + people around them. I recommend everyone to stay away from this place, in fact I wish there was a union, mystery shopping at this place, so they could keep the doctors accountable, send them on retraining, and take their licence away to be a doctor if there is no improvement. Sadly I have to give them 1 star to post this review, I would give them minus stars if it was possible."
