"Completed the cert IV online. Was all easy to follow etc. if I was to mention any negatives it would be not being given a physical copy of the teacher aide book, other online courses I’ve been given a physical copy of the text book and that’s much better especially when you pay so much for a course. Secondly it would be the difficulty I had with trying to have a school take me for prac in the Northern suburbs many turned me down due to not studying with TAFE and after calls to ITAC I was told they couldn’t suggest any schools and maybe they could call to try convince them which I didn’t feel comfortable with them doing! Badgering schools who have a policy of only taking TAFE students wasn’t something I wanted them to do. However months later I emailed into ITAC again explaining I couldn’t find placement and they then gave me the names of some schools nearer to me who had taken ITAC students ! Just wish months earlier this info was relayed to me as would have saved me a lot of time and stress and I could have completed the course months sooner. But other than those 2 issues the course was easy to follow and very informative. My trainer who came out to visit for my demonstration was Tammy and she was fabulous, such a lovely lady who really helped take my nerves away."

"I have just completed my Cert 3 with ITAC and hand-to-heart, I am so sad that I will no longer be a part of this amazing training facility. I have enjoyed every second of my learning experience with ITAC and 100% recommend them to anyone wanting to take the plunge and get proper quality training in becoming a Teaching Assistant. I may even return to do my Cert 4 at some stage!! The trainers never leave you hanging, waiting for a response to questions, assessments are marked so fast, and PL's could not be better organized and without an overwhelming amount of work to do. Great job at creating such an enjoyable place to gain a dream qualification. I cannot wait to start putting it to use and work in a classroom."

"ITAC was truly amazing. The course is so flexible and you can really go at your own pace. I have never felt so supported whilst doing online study - they were just a phone call or a quick email away. The course content was really well set out too - very easy to move through and it gave you opportunities to reflect on what you’ve learnt so far. The assessor’s at ITAC (in SA) are wonderful. My assessor was so supportive and understanding of my situation whilst on placement. If you’re thinking of becoming a TA, I could not recommend ITAC enough. ☺️"

"I was very apprehensive to start the course, because of the time it took to complete in comparison with other institutes, I have found ITAC to be very easy to deal with, learning was at my pace, I found the assessments were easy to read and follow communication was very quick and easy, the online portal was very user friendly and certificate sent out promptly. I'm extremely happy with the set up and running of the course, even with finances they came up with a plan that was affordable for me to pay off. I completed my course in just under 12 months (Christmas holidays in the middle of that), while working and running a family."
