Reviews
"A lovely spot on the swan river, polite and friendly staff that are happy to help and both whom were well informative. A Romantic ambiance and a touch of class making it very pleasant. We were excited to try their gnocchi (seen in previous reviews - this dish was served ‘pan fried’, however: like most, the menu is tweaked seasonal), and this time it was not. Regardless, we still enjoyed it. Meals are of good portion size for price point. Full or flavour and very well presented."
"The food, service and location was fantastic! Cannot fault them at all. The staff were so accomodating and constantly making sure you’re happy with everything. The food was delicious all round, who knew Bok choy could taste so good! We will definitely be back!"
"Beautiful view of the Swan River Would highly recommended sitting outside however, as it nears winter, I’d recommend a jumper/cardigan. Only down fall of sitting outside was the constant noise the jetty made. It was like a screeching noise of the jetty moving/rubbing from the movement of the water. The food was very tasty, a bit on the small side in regards to portion size. The dessert we had was average, would choose another option if we went back. The cocktails and mocktails were good sized and tasty. The staff were very attentive and very helpful and knowledgeable regarding anything in the menu. Over all, a great experience And a lovely location for a date night."
"Nice Sunday afternoon overlooking the water. We were welcomed with friendly smile by the staff. I ordered the grilled eggplant marinated in miso with katsuoboshi. It was lovely, almost Japanese. Miso was light and not overpowering the other ingredients. My hubby ordered toothfish which was I think over priced and a bit small but delicious. It had a distinct taste, strong but not too fishy, tangy and well spiced. Olive starters was perfect, just plain olives which is how it should be. Lastly I had the best dessert ever and was thinking about it for hours - brioche pishatchio ice cream with chocolate sauce. It had the right balance of chocolate, that complemented the pistachio ice cream and the brioche. I was in heaven. My hubby had the affogatto and he said it was lovely, I didn't taste it as I don't drink coffee. Overall it was a fantastic experience."
"Took my wife and daughter expecting a top Italian restaurant. Whilst it was reasonably good food, the menu was very limited and frankly not very Italian and seems a bit of a mish mash of other cuisines. The ravioli dish though was outstanding. The surroundings are beautiful. Bit hot inside on a summer evening but cool enough if you sit outside next to the Swan. Very expensive too."
