"The treatment I recieved here this morning, was not only appalling, it was downright offensive, rude, and humiliating. I was served by a young man, (around 9.30am), who in front of a line of customers, asked me what's in this bag? I said it's wheatgerm, he closely inspected it and said; no, it looks like steel cut oats, I assured him that it was wheat germ, as that is what the label above the bag said, he clearly didn't believe me, and in front of the other customers, asked me to go back and check. (Now I am temporarily disabled, as i'm currently on the waiting list for a full hip replacement, and because of the severity of my pain, i'm constantly on pain killers, and i'm confined to a wheelchair whilst at home). Although in pain, I felt so embarassed, and humiliated, by his implication that I was lying, in front of the other customer's in line, that I limped off to recheck. When I returned, I told him that it is definitely wheat germ, and that I buy it everytime I come here. Yet he still didn't believe me! Without saying anything to me, he walked off to check for himself (which he should have done himself in the first place, if he didn't deem me as honest, or trustworthy). When he returned, all he said to me was; ok, and it was put through as wheat germ, because that is what it was, I recieved no apology. Just because I have a couple of tattoos, closely cropped hair, and am missing some teeth (courtesy of an abusive ex partner), that doesn't make me a criminal, or a liar."
"Great choice of spices. Some items are cheaper than supermarket but some others are quite expensive. I still buy my flour from the supermarket unfortunately because it’s quite expensive there. But I’m so happy to reduce plastic packagings."
