"Applied late last year to get my son in for last term year 7 as we moved into the area ,was told bit late come back next year.allthough lady coordinator was happy to take my application and $100 deposit ,never heard from them again.very disappointed with whole process ,felt like I just got ripped off 100$ for nothing ,ended up having to send my son to ccs which was not my first choice.not values I expect from religious school"
"over all, this school has many curricular activities and sports but so far starting this school, i haven't been having a good time, the older kids sometimes are a little too rude and with my anxiety, i feel scared to tell a teacher. in addition, i feel like the teachers mainly think about the reputation and image of the school and it makes me kinda sad that the year 7's cant really do any recess and lunch activities and clubs. But me being honest, Mr Mecham is the best, he is so nice and Ms Greene is so funny and so easy to approach. another negative about the school is that they put to much pressure on year 7's which overwhelmed me when they suddenly threw all these assessments at me and made my anxiety go even higher"
"We came as a family to the school a few days ago to ask about enrolling our two boys to SNC. We went because our enquiries via the website email channel went unanswered. Despite the Enrollment officer being there, they refused to see us, and kept on referring us to the website. The Enrollment Officer was just about 3 meters away but we had to speak to the receptionist, then the receptionist to the Enrollment officer then the receptionist to us. Forgive me for being blunt but it was very comical. The reason was they had about 50 kids on the waiting list for every class. As they put it, they were bursting at the seams. I had my phone with me so I went and check the information I was after in the website and couldn't find the section they mentioned. So I had to ask the reception to show me where it is, and she couldn't find it. I understand that they may not be interested in taking more potential students and the chance of my kids getting accepted to the school was very slim, but I felt a bit uneasy leaving that school. I went straight to Ursula Frayne and they were the same, they were overwhelmed with applicants too, but the approach was very different, a lot more kinder. I hope this only happened to me, as SNC is a good school with good reputation."
"We love the school. We have really seen huge growth in our son whilst being at St Norberts. His self confidence has improved and he’s very settled at high school. We have found St Norberts to be a supportive school and lots of different opportunities to suit all kids. Only suggestions is I would love to see more after school study clubs, especially for core subjects and robotics/chess clubs."
"I am a student at St Norberts and I highly recommend you do not enroll you kids here, the teachers do not know how to teach properly, I have learnt nothing and my grades are getting lower every term. The kids here are very immature and and the school over reacts about every little thing. This school is a waste of time and money. Please do not enroll."
