"Good service, very clean, looking in from street,it doesn't look like many tables and chairs, but it goes in,then around wall, where's there's a quiet setting with more tables.Tried something different, pork pieces, pack 6 or 9(YUM)cake was a 10"
"I had a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict (with an Asian twist!). A great coffee too. It was chilly but I wanted to sit near the door to watch the people go past. Service was great and staff were attentive. It was a quiet day so there was not a lot of atmosphere but there was good music going. I got such a nice feeling when an elderly couple came in and were greeted so warmly - they seemed like regulars and ordered cakes and hot chocolates (I loved this!)"
"Fantastic coffee, owner even treated me to a tasting of their gorgeous slow brew. Highly recommend. Will come back. Outdoor seating was great for my fur baby, too."
"This place has a lovely feel and nice people running it. Very impressed when it first opened. Interior is bright and welcoming. The banana cake was lovely and the quiche (though overpriced for the size) is yum. However of late, it has been hit and miss. Some of the cakes have been dry to actually hard to cut, the coffee at times bitter and burnt. Pancakes I had recently took an age to come out and came out stone cold when they did. Not sure what took so long when they came out cold. Looked more like pikelets in the Golden Crumpets range that you can do yourself in the toaster - except these were not soft nor pleasant tasting. These were dry and tasteless - not worth $12.50. Not sure we will be back as it's wasting hard earned money and there are plenty of other cafes in Glenelg. Go back to basics of serving good, hot food and decent coffee."
"Fantastic experience at the Dancing Spoon, I absolutely loved the orange and almond cake, the flavour was amazing and it was so moist with a great texture! I also loved my vegan brioche burger, the flavour was amazing"
