"The schools structure is so outdated you can still find gum under desks from 2 decades ago, and they just paint over gum on the walls of the classes. The School is incredibly under staffed, and its strictness on rules are wrongly placed, they are more strict if you have you have your phone out than to people who gets bullied, and their placement of their focus of education is quite the main problem, only if you have one of the subject head or a teacher who worked there a long time you'll have a good time learning. Usually when you have a relief teachers no one does work at all, and as I am writing this the internet has gone down at the school, requiring me to restart this entire paragraph. Even the schools technology is outdated despite having enough money to upgrade the educational technology for students use in learning. Just recently there have been a certain incident causing the school to go on lockdown. (I will not specify the incident but most attending the school will know)"
"Como is not good heaps of people are bullies and I really hate them the teachers I like them very nice and most of the people are not smart at all and lots of eshays."
"This is a terrible school, I started year 7 in 2022 in the EMITS program and was very dissaponted. The popular group was a bunch of kids who skip school and swear, I had no friends and was always bored with nothing to do at lunch! The schools looks and feels like a prison! Dont go to this school! I left the school in term after three terms and it was the best choice I have ever made. I am now at Mercedes College in the city and I couldn't be happier, I have many friends and there is always something new to do at lunch. Please don't go to Como Secondary College!"
"The school is full of students that have zero intention on learning and disrupt classes as a result, almost makes me feel bad that all the classes I attend have at least 3 people missing simply because they hide on who-knows-where on the school grounds to avoid a certain subject. Yes, there are very good teachers that have the patience and show helpful techniques and in-depth knowledge but very little have willpower to control their own class (except from raising their voice once in a while). May I mention that the school also looks a lot like prison alkatraz? I'm not kidding, the entire building is built in the most brutal style. I've seen military camps better than this school."
"let’s just say the staff is the problem, it’s not even about the students. the staff act like they are so privileged just bc they have a badge with bad font and earned their righteous place as an a*hole. it’s ridiculous, it’s like they can’t move on from the past like real adults and instead choose to make unnecessary comments as their so called “funny” humour. i’m especially talking about reception staff, im telling you the students need to set a good example for them and let the staff learn some common decency. so many students complain about the same thing, no wonder why people keep leaving. those bad ratings aren’t for nothing that’s a promise. como would be such a decent school if they knew how to employ the right staff. i’m glad i left that prison. no offence :)"
