"Dear Waves Laundromat Currumbin Waters and Currumbin Fair Veterinary Surgery owners… This afternoon I went in 2minutes before my maxi load washing finished. There was a large basket of towels in front of the maxi washing machine and I stood there as my washing load finished. A staff member from the Currumbin Fair Veterinary Surgery wearing a bandanna came and stood next to me also waiting for my laundry to finish. She said “are you also waiting for this machine” I said “it’s my laundry” she said “oh do you have more laundry to do?” I said “no- are you from the vet?” She said “yes when we have a big load we come and use the maxi wash machine” I said “there is a specific washing machine right there for animal linen” she said “well when we’ve got a big Load so we use this” I said “ I guess it’s good to know we shouldn’t use this anymore because you use it for dirty and sick animals from the vet” she said “where are you from? Aren’t there any laundromats where you are- you should go somewhere else” she then walked out towards the vet. I then got my laundry out of the machine and left feeling really uncomfortable because I washed my 2 year olds clothes in the same washing machine as the vets use to wash their dirty and sick animal towels linen (apparently she said that’s what they do). So now I have to go and find another laundry to wash my families clothes now because the lady wearing vet uniform and bandanna told me to “go somewhere else”."

"I was just at this Business this afternoon offering support for my Brother and His sick Dog and whilst we were asked to come back tomorow morning, due to an emergency involving an attack on a dog from another dog… I cannot compliment this Surgery enough on their professionalism with their clients. My current Vet, who turned us away until 5 days away, just lost a client. This Vet, at Currumbin Fair told us they had an emergency but still took us in to help us. Albeit we have to come back tomorow, but they had the Care Factor. The interaction the Lady at the front desk (Janine?) had with everyone there, when it was so busy was so impressive… I just cannot compliment them enough. If you are looking for a new Vet, I’ve found it for you. Diane E"

"We would like to thank Dr Karl, Janine and the other lovely vet nurses for their wonderful care and compassion when we brought our little dog Milly in to be euthanised after 14 loyal and loving years. Milly has been a patient at the surgery since she was born and they have always looked after her with tenderness and care. Their service is top-notch and the pricing is very reasonable and I can’t recommend this business highly enough. They truly have the interests of their patients at heart. ❤️"
