"In my opinion, the tracks were similar to and as nice as the more popular Lesmurdie Waterfall nearby. One could do a full loop without bumping into too many people. Great for weekend or evening stroll."
"Very muddy when wet, new carpark being built. Beware when parking on Lewis Rd as ranger likes dishing out fines - read signs carefully. Lesmurdie falls nearby too."
"Our favourite go to hike around Perth! I live in Maylands and love that this is close to us too(20mins)! Love the river along the route and on the end, you can go across and hike back with different view. I love that I can take my dog and he goes play with water. But, there is no bin in the car park. We were there June2023 and they were still roadworks for the car park. PS: Make sure that you park the correct way, otherwise you will get a fine."
"Great track, ruins still visible, we went mid june so the creeks were running anf the waterfalls were flowing. Dog friendly tracks, and easy to navigate. No toilets avail and parking extremely difficult as road works were in progress. Could easily spend hours out there."
"Waterfalls and wildflowers galore! This loop trail is dog friendly and perfect for a late winter, early spring walk when the water is flowing well and the wildflowers are in full bloom. There are city views from a few vantage points. This trail is not too strenuous but does have a bit of loose rocks and slippery clay when wet or just after rain. It does get busy on weekends and the parking is roadside with traffic reduced to a single lane. There are no public toilets available. Overall, it was a lovely walk."
