This statement has been endorsed by esteemed organizations such as the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, the Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group, and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, among others. Additionally, Australian universities actively engaged in prostate cancer survivorship research have partnered with us in this important initiative.

Our institution takes pride in being the first in Australia to introduce this Position Statement, which aims to identify and manage psychological and quality of life concerns in men affected by prostate cancer. Alongside this statement, we have developed the Monograph: A Psychosocial Care Model for Men with Prostate Cancer (Second Edition), providing a comprehensive framework for healthcare professionals to deliver effective support.
