At Keanes Point Reserve, we offer a range of facilities and amenities for visitors to enjoy. We understand that sometimes you may want to have exclusive use of certain areas within the parklands for functions or events. In such cases, we provide permits that allow you to set aside designated areas for your exclusive use. Please note that fees are charged for the use of these constructed facilities and for the use of power.

To ensure a smooth booking process, we require all casual users of the Shire's reserves to complete a reserves booking form. This form can be submitted via fax, email, or through the post. It is essential to provide all the necessary information to expedite the booking process.

Keanes Point Reserve is bounded by Johnston Street, Bay View Terrace, Keane Street, and Lilla Street, making it easily accessible. However, please be aware that Manners Hill Park Reserve and Pavilion are unavailable for hire on weekdays before 3.30 pm. Additionally, the pavilion can only be hired for daytime functions, with a curfew of 6.00 pm in winter months and 7.00 pm in summer months. No amplification of music or speeches is permitted at any time.

While the pavilion may not be available for nighttime functions, the park and pavilion remain accessible to the public at all times when there are no bookings. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the serene surroundings and explore the beautiful parkland.

It is important to note that any structures, forms of lighting, and consumption of alcohol within the park require approval from the Chief Executive Officer. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, and therefore, certain acts are prohibited without prior written permission from the Council.

Please be mindful of the local laws governing the use of the park. Failure to comply with the conditions of a permit may result in a penalty of $100.00. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, any person found in breach of these regulations may be removed from the land by a Police Officer or an Officer of the Shire.
