"My favourite park to take my dog to! He doesn't do well with other dogs so it's great to go somewhere on-leash only where I know there won't be off-leash dogs running up to him. Very pretty gardens and plenty of shade. My only complaint is there are still lots of people who let their dogs off-leash here. Maybe the signage needs to be clearer?"
"Playground, restrooms, potable water, close parking. Beautiful views and very well maintained and presented gardens."
"Beautiful shady park with big bright playground (upgraded early 2022). Pathways wind through the gardens, memorial and water feature. Right next to the Stirling Train Station and only a short stroll from IKEA and local cafes. Toilets and BBQs available."
"Stirling Civic Gardens is a very pleasant park in the northern Perth suburb of Stirling. Close to the highway and good parking, this park offers easy access to families and anyone looking to get out into some green space for some relaxation and a change of scene. The children’s play area offers a wide array of fun activities for children to enjoy, with slides, climbing walls, swings and other things. While to the side there are picnic tables and benches, as well as a couple of public barbeques, meaning that parents can relax with ease, while also keeping an eye out for the wellbeing of their kids. A downside to the park is its proximity to the highway and freeway, due to the level of noisy coming from them. The constant drone of traffic eats into the pace and calm, reducing the level of relaxation possible here. It is however a very pleasant park, with lots of greenery, a small lake, another water feature and plenty of birdlife. On the whole, a nice park in the suburb of Stirling."
