"I don't know why people are giving such good reviews for customer service, I've been in to this Adelaide Tools about 8 or 9 times in the past 3 years and none of the staff come and ask if I need help finding something, I have also found it almost impossible to get anyone out from behind the counter to help me, I once spent about 10 minuts trying to find something because all the guy would do was point in the general direction. only once I have been given good customer service here a very nice staff member came up to me when I was looking at the welders and he told me all about its functions and capabilities. Also I found alot of items there have failed to be priced so I have to bring the product to the front counter to find out the price and then it takes them bloody 5 minutes to find out the price after entering the bar code number. Anyway my overall long term experience is self service rather than customer service, I've never bought anything from Adelaide Tools because it was made hard to do and if the staff don't have time for me then unfortunately I don't have time for the company. P.S. if you end up replying to this don't reply with ya bloody auto message saying you apologise and are dedicated to satisfying your customers. A human response to a problem is customer service not an emotionless bot repeating the same old record. Thank you."

I rang yesterday concerning some AEG batteries I needed I spoke to Makayla, she went above and beyond to get me what I wanted as you didn't have them in stock, she sourced them from Lonsdale for me. He provided great information on the phone and then in store I asked about several other items I'm looking to buy but needed more information on. He was friendly, concise, accurate (he didn't pretend to know something that he wasn't 100% certain on and checked it up for me)...and all without condescension which I and other women who use tools receive frequently enough from other retailers. I've received great service every time I've been there (actually it might have been Jim who helped then too) and will be back for my next items soon.
