"Absolutely horrendous. Danielle Raynor was extremely unprofessional. When I wouldn't understand something she was patronising and made me feel stupid. She would appear irritated when I questioned something I did not understand. She did EMDR and did not give me a safety signal as required, then when we finally stopped, she encouraged me to continue knowing i had just experienced a panic attack. Every time i would raise an issue, she would belittle and invalidate my issues and due to that, i was reluctant to share information. She then ended our treatment essentially saying i was 'untreatable'. She made me feel as if i was too mentally ill for treatment and there was no point in accessing services. Whilst I love understanding another perspective she would always pick the opposing 'side'. I do appreciate when clinicians state an alternate point of view however choosing a side is incredibly unprofessional. She would constantly advocate for the people who have traumatised me, further establishing the notion of victim blaming. Following that point, there was also a reoccurring issue of counter-transference. Danielle would act as my mother which would make me breakdown [e.g. my mother encourages my disordered eating and when I was over exercising, Danielle would further encourage that]. She would always make me feel so uncomfortable that I was crying and I felt as though she was closed-minded. I naturally place a lot of pressure on myself in therapy but she would always assert that I was not trying hard enough. Over our therapeutic relationship, I felt so defeated, like I was unfixable and i believed there was no bright future. I think Danielle perpetuated the beliefs of my depression. I can now see the difference as I am in an entirely different practice seeing a new trauma informed psychologist. She is amazing! However I do not want anyone to experience what I have."
"Absolutely horrible service and disrespect from this team!! Did not give me any notice at all that one of their team members was moving away so I waited 6 months for the appointments I booked for them to be cancelled on me when I could have found somewhere a lot better within that time. Will not be recommending this company to anyone and if you are looking for care/support this is not the place to go considering the fact that they are meant to look after certain mental health conditions!!!!"
"Started going here during COVID and managed to make it through about 3 sessions. Just before my next scheduled session, I received a TEXT saying that CBT was increasing their prices, without explaining why. The amount was small, but I found it shocking. We are in the middle of a pandemic crisis and heading straight into a recession. People are losing their jobs, people are dying, people are paranoid. All around the world, we are coming together to make things EASIER for each other. Yet, somehow, CBT has decided to raise their prices on mental health. The mental health community doesn't need more stress right now, they need more support. I understand that price increases happen and I fully support that - but the timing was poor, selfish, and inconsiderate of the current state of the country. Not to mention that the location itself is incredibly unprofessional. I could always hear people talking in some sort of break room, the smell of someone's reheated lunch wafting through the whole place. And in a time when we're being overly conscious of cleaning practices, the two different rooms I was in were very clearly not wiped down or cleaned between clients. I already thought their prices were a little high for the condition of the facilities. Yet they want me to pay MORE money for...? The facilities and business practices completely negate the services provided. Would happily go elsewhere and pay more for a place that actually cares about the community it serves."
"Knowing that i had an issue with the service at CBT professionals... management has swiftly resolved my problem and updated their service to better accomodate their future clients. I want to say thank you to Claire at CBT for ammending things with me and stepping up to improving services from the feedback i offered recently. Thanks again."
"Woman Dakota was pretty rude saying they had no details of my website referral&laughing in the background with a colleague about how my name is pronounced, also said "you don't remember?" when asking what practitioner I'd preferred off website (almost a week earlier).Explained someone had rung me&never rang back, she said that was Nerang not Coomera.Am kind of turned off proceeding any further :("
