Established in January 1998 by Shidoshi Craig Decke (5th Dan black belt) and his wife Desma Decke (3rd Dan black belt), the Zenshin Karate Club has grown from strength to strength. We offer classes in various locations in the UK as well as here in the northern suburbs of Perth. With multiple classes running every week, we are proud to be one of the few clubs in Perth that provide specialized classes and grading programs for different age groups.

Karate, originating from the Okinawan islands of Japan, is a form of self-defense. While its true origins may lie in China or India, karate is a Japanese word meaning "empty hand." Our style at Zenshin Karate is a blend of two traditional styles, Shotokan and Goju-Ryu, combined with modern-day street defense techniques.

As a member of Zenshin Karate, you are part of the WUMA (World United Martial Arts) Federation, enabling you to train at any of our classes worldwide. The grades you achieve are recognized globally, giving you the opportunity to further your karate journey wherever you go.
