In line with our commitment to sustainability, we have installed six publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging stations within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters. View our website to find the locations of these stations.
Exciting developments are also taking place in our area. The Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre is set to be transformed into a state-of-the-art aquatic facility, offering even more amenities for our residents and visitors to enjoy.
We are proud to announce that we have created five ongoing exhibition spaces for emerging and established artists. This initiative aims to support and showcase local talent, and we are excited to see the creative works that will be displayed in these spaces.
In order to protect our environment, we kindly remind everyone not to place batteries in kerbside bins. All types of batteries have the potential to cause harm, so please dispose of them responsibly.
Looking ahead, we have scheduled the completion of new facilities at Cruickshank Reserve for December 2023. These facilities will include a clubroom, canteen, and two change rooms, providing even more amenities for our community.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have installed six publicly accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout our city. This initiative aims to support the growing number of electric vehicles and promote eco-friendly transportation options.
Exciting developments are also underway at the much-loved Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre, where it will be transformed into an exciting water park. Get ready for endless fun and enjoyment in the water!
We are also dedicated to enhancing our community spaces. The Dunstan Adventure Playground will receive an upgrade, including a new shade structure, lighting, public toilets, and better path integration with the River Torrens Linear Park. This will create a safer and more enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Lastly, we are undertaking the Trinity Valley Drainage Upgrade to reduce the risk of flooding in the suburbs of St Morris, Trinity Gardens, Maylands, and Stepney. This project, known as the Trinity Valley, aims to protect our community and its infrastructure from potential flood damage.

Reviews
"Great little park. Well maintained and looked after. Went there looking for a film location and all of us were impressed. Very nice spot."
"Situated in a lovely neighborhood. Its close proximity to shops adds to its convenience, making it easily accessible for visitors. The park itself is known for its friendly atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. With BBQ facilities available, it becomes an ideal spot to host a birthday party or enjoy a picnic."
"Thanks to the layout and landscaping, including mature trees, this lovely park seems bigger than it is. There are several benches and at least one picnic table. Also an electric BBQ I think (only saw it from a distance, it was in use). We had no trouble finding a bench in the shade to eat our lunch. Plenty of room to run around, but close proximity to busy roads so care needs to be taken. We didn't find the traffic noise intrusive."
"Hidden gem like a secret garden. 1 minute drive from Norwood Parade if you want to buy some nice food and have a picnic. Nice clean stainless steel toilets. Nice shade cloth covered playground with swings, slide and climbing equipment. Meandering Garden designed for kids to run around in. Opened in the 1970's, lots of lawn and shady trees"
"What a beautiful green, clean, family friendly park. Kid and dog friendly with open grassy play areas, playground, BBQ's and picnic benches. Birds and butterflies galore. Always perfectly manicured and maintained and a joy to visit."
