With a committed performance team that participates in numerous shows throughout the year, we educate our students about the dance industry. Our highly trained teachers, who have extensive careers and teaching backgrounds, are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise to build confidence and performance skills in every child.

Our mission is to create performers of the next generation. We encourage our students to perform with their hearts, to truly love and appreciate the stage. Our dancers should strive towards the love of dance and performance, rather than focusing solely on the rewards it can bring. We believe that performing for personal growth and enjoyment is the most important aspect.

Respect is a core value at The Dance Dept. We emphasize the importance of respecting teachers, the studio, and fellow classmates. Being part of a group builds lifelong team skills, and we do not support unhealthy competition within our team. Every student is valued equally and encouraged to believe in themselves.

Performing is both fun and challenging at The Dance Dept. We have a great time together, but we also work extremely hard. Our students are expected to give 100% in every class, always with a positive attitude.

Each year, we hold an end-of-year showcase, providing an opportunity for every student to perform on stage and showcase their talents to the school community, family, friends, and our industry.
