"Stay well away from this clinic. Staff are incompetent after over 25 years of experience selling people toxic treats, chicken feed dressed as dog food, and no understanding of what treats are. Their vet nurse Sue Lewis felt the need to use propaganda to discredit my bacon rind dog training treats saying it’s a pancreatitis risk…. I have no experience in the vet industry and I know the concern is fat content. If you feed a dog a full meal of dehydrated liver, as sold in this clinic and given to your pets. The animal will likely die. All things in moderation but a vet nurse of 27 years has no concept of that. How incompetent can a business be that you don’t learn anything in 27 years of employment. Vet nutrition module is owned by MARS, they’re taught which hills product to recommend and that is all. Many treats sold by vets are highly toxic and regularly cause death of animals. If a human drinks 6L water in one sitting they can die too, does your doctor tell you that a glass of water is a water intoxication risk? No they tell you it’s necessary. Just like animal fat is a necessary intake for your carnivorous animals. The body has two choices of energy source they’re carbohydrates or fat, carbohydrates feed yeast infestations so they can sell you an $8 bottle for $80 to treat the yeast infection in your dogs ear, or offer an expensive “prescription” kibble in search of the allergy source that is generally a yeast overgrowth. I’ll update at a later date with a full list of potentially fatal and toxic products sold by this vet chain. Usually I stay in my own lane but staff from this clinic felt the need to call bacon rind a pancreatitis risk. So let’s expose the many risks that Adelaide vet pose to your fur babies"
"My 10 yr old blind cat Saffy was extremely unwell I didn't think she could survive but with knowledge & support of vet Storm and nurses, 2 weeks of me tube feeding and antibiotics she is now doing well. So pleased with this outcome. Thank you AdelaideVet Prospect!"
"Bad customer service and not very helpful in case of issues. Always a different vet which put my dog in distress every time he has to go in the car. The Total Wellness Plan is definitely not worth the money."
"Always very nice, I've been taking my dogs there since they were pups unfortunately I had to have my Charlie put down a few years ago he was not well at all. He was about 14yrs then, I've still got his sister and she's 16 now and starting to show her age as well. Thanks staff for looking after my Charlie and Xena. Julie"
"Thankyou so much for looking after our bruno for the past 14 years and sending a beautiful card to our family when it was time for him to say his goodbyes. Really appreciate every single staff at prospect vet and will be sure to use them with any other pets we get in years to come. Love Bruno’s family"
