One of our key services is our COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, available on Mondays and Tuesdays. We offer Pfizer booster shots for individuals aged 12 and above. To secure your spot, please call us at 8346 6408 and make a booking.

Please note that non-concession card holders will be charged the scheduled fee for Telephone Consults. Face-to-face consultations also attract a fee, which is payable at the time of the consult. However, you can expect the Medicare rebate to be deposited into your bank account on the same day.

To make your appointment process easier, you can book online by clicking the button on the right or by downloading the HotDoc mobile app. This secure and simple method ensures you don't have to wait on hold to speak to reception. Additionally, HotDoc will automatically send you a reminder message with your appointment details.

In order to protect other patients, we kindly request that if you have any cold or flu symptoms, you book a phone consultation instead of a face-to-face consult. This is an important measure we have implemented due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. If you are seeing one of our independent contract doctors, please wear a mask to your appointment, as they have their own preferences regarding this precaution.

Starting in mid-April 2023, we will be offering government-funded flu vaccinations for eligible patients. Non-eligible patients can still see their doctor for a script and return for the vaccination.

Our Croydon Clinic at 421 Port Road has a convenient carpark accessible via Princess Street, next to 12 Princess Street. Please note that there are Clearway restrictions on Port Road before 10 am and after 3 pm.

At Torrens Clinic, our mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care, incorporating a holistic approach to diagnosis and illness management. We have a rich history, with Drs. Patrick, Smallhorn, Sando, and Chadwick having rooms on Port Road Hindmarsh in the 1960s, and later on South Road, Croydon. Dr. Turnbull joined the clinic in 1967, followed by Dr. Allen in 1971. Since then, Torrens Clinic has thrived and continues to grow.

We are proud to have a dedicated team of doctors, including Dr. Lauren Astrauskas, Dr. Jim Christpoulos, Dr. Gavin James, Dr. Lyn Muller, and Dr. Liz Clisby. Their expertise covers a wide range of medical fields, ensuring comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who completed our survey. The results showed that we are committed to providing quality service. Our practice was assessed by QPA surveyors on February 28, 2023, and has successfully achieved accreditation once again.

Please be aware that our independent contract doctors require the wearing of masks during consults to ensure the safety of patients, doctors, and staff.

At Torrens Clinic, we have a diverse team of doctors, with 6 male doctors and 3 female doctors. They are dedicated to providing quality healthcare for individuals across the community, from birth through to the senior years.

To facilitate your pathology requests, our Clinpath Pathology Collection Centre at 83 Holbrooks Road, Flinders Park, is open from 8 am to 12 pm, Monday to Friday. Additionally, our Australian Clinical Labs Pathology Collection Centre at 421 Port Road, Croydon, operates from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Both collection sites accept request forms from all pathology companies.
