"I’ve been going to this store for over 10 years, and gradually I’ve seen the customer service decline. To a point where I won’t return. I’ll just order online. I was ignored for 15 minutes the other day after initially engaging with someone for help on an out of stock item. There were 4 other workers behind the counter. Chatting away with no real purpose. None of them offered help. I would’ve bought a number of other actual stocked items, but I was too annoyed and left."

"Have been using these guys for a long time now and usually found them reasonable to deal with. My last encounter was not that good. Ordered a router top insert over 4 months ago with a price of $230 and told it would take 3 months to arrive. Only to be told that the order was never put through. The price has now jumped to $250 and another 3 months wait unless I wanted the scratched one off the floor. There's a reason I'm buying a new one. I don't want the scratches."

"Went in today to buy some accessories for my Cabratec wood lathe. Was intialy ignored by all staff behind the counter, then a staff member appeared from the store room. He told me that they didn't have any and would have to order them in. Then he walked off without offering to order it in. Worst customer experience I've seen. Will be ordering online from another retailer from now on."

"The Staff at Cabatec, are extremely helpful, after purchasing a Tormek T8, I found it damaged, however once I contacted the staff at Carbatec they had gone completely out of their way, they organised a new replacement which arrived a few days later. Now I'm happy using my new product. You can always rely on Carbatec to do the right thing for their customers."

"Couldn’t be happier with my new SawStop jobsite pro table saw & accessories (I’m sure there will be lots more to come). The guys down at Carbatec Stepney were extremely friendly and helpful, from my first visit with the kids to pick up a few accessories I was greeted straight away by Cameron & Dom and then Sam looked after us while deciding what works best, to the visit a few days later to purchase my new table saw as my Makita MLT100 just wasn’t cutting the mustard. Noel was extremely helpful and made the decision to grab the SawStop and Incra 1000HD right there and then along with some other goodies.
