About the Business
Welcome to Parklake, a hidden gem nestled in Maudsland, Australia. Located on Greenway Boulevard, this establishment is not your ordinary park. It is an enchanting point of interest and a must-visit tourist attraction.
As you approach Parklake, you may be surprised to discover that it cannot be seen from the street. Once you step inside, you will be amazed by the sheer size of the playground. Designed to cater to children of all ages, this park offers two separate play structures, all set under a delightful canopy of trees. Whether your little ones are thrill-seekers or just starting to explore the world, they will find something to delight them here.
The larger playground boasts one of the tallest straight drop slides on the Gold Coast, providing an exhilarating experience for the brave ones. The five-swing structure is always a hit with children, as is the exciting flying fox. For toddlers and smaller children, the second playground offers ramps and steps, making it easy for them to navigate. The large sandpit is filled with interactive elements, including a car and climbing dome, ensuring endless hours of imaginative play.
Adjacent to the playground is a spacious field, perfect for friendly matches or simply running around with a ball. Parklake is a popular destination for families looking to celebrate birthdays, as it offers excellent facilities such as picnic tables, barbecues, a gazebo, and a toilet block. You can enjoy a delightful outdoor gathering while the children have a blast on the playground.
When visiting Parklake, please note that dogs must be kept on a leash unless otherwise stated, and they are not allowed in any of the children's playground areas. We have made sure that the park is accessible for everyone, including individuals with disabilities, with pathway access throughout the parklands.
To enter the park and carpark, you can access Greenway Boulevard or enter through Andrew Baildon's Superfish Swim School. So come and experience the magic of Parklake, where fun, adventure, and cherished memories await you and your family.
Reviews
"Lovely shaded playground big enough for lots of kids. Flat oval for active kids also. VERY popular for birthday parties. Bring your own shade, though, as not many tables undercover. Toilets on-site."
"Lots shade area and playground are surrounded by tall tree. Lots local friendly wildlife to see and interact with. It has an old river next to it and you can smell the plant decay. Besides that, the only problem will be parking... Good luck"
"A really good, large park. Lots of wide open space. Several playground areas - four to five - with shade. Several tables with a rotunda at the other end of the park. Toilets, yes. Good amount of parking either on the road or in the car park of the swimming pool. A nice creek and bush area next to park."
"Awesome park for younger kids and toddlers. Slides swings climbing walls and everything else you need for a fun day out. Get there early if you want to barbecue or secure a spot! Though it started emptying out as we were leaving around 13:30"
"Great playground with so much for kids of various ages. Open space for soccer etc. Fig trees provide nice shade. Can be a few mozzies though."
