"Brilliant, understanding, caring, compassionate, hard working and kind professionals working within their limited scarce economic resources the Government has allocated them. There is never a slow day for these heroes who do their best in circumstances where financial resources and built environments should be at least doubled to meet current demand. Don't complain about this service. Save your energy and ask the Government for additional resources to ease these workloads before we burn these lifesavers out. We need to save these lifesavers by directing our energy to the Government of today."
"I have no faith in this hospital, they lost my records of ever attending there by Ambulance direct to ED. Excruciatingly long wait, sent home with equipment that failed me and the catheter still in my arm. The ED is so busy that hardworking taxpayers do not get the attention they are paying their taxes for. In saying this I have no option due to specific resources that I have to deal with them again. But I have to give Angela, the Surgery List Coordinator accolades as she is doing her best to assist patients."
"Everytime I've been to Flinders hospital, I've been extremely impressed with the kindness of the staff, and the treatment that I have received. Wait times could improve but that's got nothing to do with the hospital, rather the funding. I also know everyone talks down about hospital food, however I find it absolutely delightful, best cooked brussel sprouts around, lovely pudding and their shepherds pies are wonderful."
"Stay away from Group practice birth support. A heartless bunch of midwives, they don't care. My partner was a healthy strong pregnant woman when she came to the hospital and expected a healthy baby and to birth as waterbirth. But They didn't pick up that is was a breech birth. They didn't check on my partner before discharge. They didn't check her wounds. They discharged her next day even though the baby was on neonatal under special care and made us feel like rubbish and beeing a pest. Nobody followed up on my partner while we stayed in the hospital still officially discharged. Now she has an infection at the stitches, has to undergo surgery and has stay for weeks in hospital. Stay away from Group practice birth support. Wipe the benches clean and get stuff which has heart and cares for mothers and babies"
"I attended Flinders Medical Centre A&E, on the recent public holiday, with a suspected broken bone in my hand. At every step of the process the staff were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out after an X-ray in a very short time. Thank you to the staff at Flinders for working public holidays and making my experience a great one."
