"This business takes $100 (!!) deposit and require 2 days notice if you cancel - so if an emergency comes up, the money is not refunded under any circumstances. Disgusting. When cancelling the receptionist was rude and explained she "doesn't write the policy". Will never be going here - they have lost a lot more than $100 in the long run."

"I’m a girl with thick, thirsty curls that went grey far before my time. I have been a client of Jade and Chantelle for many years changing and maintaining colour, and growing and shortening my style. The girls have continually suggested and talked through my ideas, managed my hair through post baby loss and ensured my hair always looks amazing. When there, I feel like I am the most important person to my stylist and know that attention is given to ensuring my ideas are heard and I leave the salon looking my best. I have now got my daughter visiting and receiving fantastic advice to make sure her beautiful hair grows and is easy to maintain and style the way we need. I think the need to be booked months in advance is a testament of how awesome Chantelle is and I appreciate being so well cared for while I’m there."

"I’m sad to be leaving this review as I am a loyal customer. I recently had my hair done and half way through my treatment my hairdresser left the salon without any explanation. I was left sitting there with toner in my hair which only needed 20 minutes. Not one other staff member reassured me that I would be taken care of. I then had to ask if they knew where my hair dresser had gone (which they didn’t) and if my toner could be washed out. I was told that the timer would go off shortly and someone would take care of me. After waiting a while one of the other staff members checked the timer, which had stopped working but I was told my hair would be fine as the toner does nothing after 20 minutes anyway. My hair was then finished by two different staff members. I was then charged full price for the service. Once I got home and was able to look at my hair properly it was very dark from the toner and not what I had asked for. I sent an email explaining what had happened and the owner called me apologising (later finding out that my hair dresser had left the salon unwell) and offered a free treatment. I asked for a refund and was refused. 5 days later my fringe had snapped off and I now have little sideburns where more of my hair had snapped. I will not be returning to Sass and Maine in the future. Very disappointed."
