Welcome to Indigo Montessori Mt. Claremont, a prestigious establishment and point of interest located at 100 Stephenson Avenue in Mount Claremont, Western Australia. My name is Natasha and I have been working in the Early Childhood Industry since 2016, teaching and inspiring children. I also have experience lecturing for a University in Dublin, Ireland, where I helped shape the future generation of teachers.

Just like many of the children attending Indigo, I began my education journey at a Montessori school when I was four years old. This experience laid the foundation for my future studies and ignited my passion for early years education. I am a fully qualified Montessori Teacher, holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies, and a Master's in Early Childhood Studies.

I firmly believe that early years education is crucial in setting the stage for a child's lifelong learning journey. At Indigo, we are dedicated to supporting children in their growth, development, and learning in a fun and meaningful way.

Our center is nestled in a tranquil location, right beside the HBF stadium. It features three rooms, each specifically designed for different age groups. Each room has its own garden and designated dining areas, which we consider as extensions of our learning environment. These areas are designed to constantly stimulate the interests of our children, providing them with a diverse and engaging learning experience.

Mealtimes hold great importance in our daily routine, as they foster positive social interaction, self-help skills, and healthy eating behaviors. Our educators sit with the children, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We believe in giving children the opportunity to develop self-help skills and independence through self-serving and being involved in the meal serving process.

All our healthy meals are freshly cooked each day by our dedicated cook, who is at the heart of our center. We follow a 19-day menu that has been specifically devised to avoid unnecessary processed foods, preservatives, and additives, ensuring that our children receive the best nutrition possible.
