Welcome to Northern Area Community & Youth Services (NACYS), a not-for-profit establishment located in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide, Australia. NACYS was founded in 1981 with a mission to support and serve the most vulnerable members of our community. We are dedicated to promoting community development, providing therapeutic programs, and nurturing early childhood development.

At NACYS, we prioritize inclusivity and diversity, striving to be a trauma-practicing organization that listens to the voices of our community members and represents them in all our endeavors. We are proud to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Kaurna people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which NACYS stands today. We extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our local community, as well as to the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia.

In collaboration with the South Australian Department of Human Services, through the Strong Families, Stronger Communities Program, NACYS is excited to introduce the IS-FACT Program in the Barossa, Light & Lower Northern Region of Adelaide, starting from July 1st, 2023. Additionally, NACYS has partnered with SA Health to provide free Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) for the Playford community. These tests are available to the general public from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, at our Head Office in Davoren Park. No pre-booking is required, so feel free to drop by and see us!

Our range of therapeutic services includes counseling/psychotherapy, case management, support, and advocacy. We offer support across the lifespan, ensuring that individuals of all ages receive the care they need.

Furthermore, NACYS Early Childhood Services encompass a long-day care facility, out-of-school hours care, and a school vacation program. We are committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment for young children to thrive and grow.
