"A wonderful arts venue with fabulous modern amenities. For music and the performing arts it must be one of Perth's best school stages."
"It's a outstanding school. I just want to point out a little problem about the school. There are lots of inks in the boys tolie. There are some litter on the floor where near the T10. There are lots of dirty mark on the ceiling. I really wish this school can be better and better. According the broken widows theory, some problems need to be fixed or to becontrolled. If the school try to ignore the some problems, things might go wrong in the future."
"this school is a very great place to learn, and the learning system is awesome for a public school. The best thing about this school is the fact that there is only 5 periods and the school day is ~15 minuets shorter than the neighboring school, Newman College (no hate to that school though, i went there when i was younger). the only problem i have with Churchlands is the amogus references. EVERYWHERE. everywhere you look is amogus or sus. apart from that however, great school. would greatly reccommend."
"CSHS is one of the best schools in the state, and easily competes with the private schools. It is a very big school, which can be annoying at times, but it means that there is a wide variety of subjects and clubs; some of which are not offered at other schools. There are plenty of opportunities to join music, academic, sport, art, language and community projects; and there are lots of school tours to go on. There are is also a good support system of chaplains, school psychologists, teachers and other staff. Of course, there are the bad kids who give the school a bad reputation, but every school has them; Churchlands just happens to be spoken about more. If your child is getting into trouble a lot, and receiving a lot of detentions, suspensions, etc, it is not the school's fault. This is a high school. The kids are big enough to be held responsible for their own actions; so don't blame the school! The school can only do so much to discipline YOUR child. The staff are there to educate, not babysit. Additionally, every school has teachers that aren't so great. At CSHS, the majority of the teachers are lovely, and care about their students. The school can be fussy about uniform, but that is only because they have a private school level reputation that needs to be upheld. I have been a student here for the last six years, and have only had good experiences. Obviously every individual's experiences are different, but Churchlands is a lot better than most schools, and gives you the same high level education that a private school gives for a fraction of the price. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to spend my high school years here!"
"If there was a zero star rating I'd give this school zero stars. If they don't like your kid they suspend them over ANY miniscule tiny trivial thing. My son has spent more than 50% of the school year suspended and received a 9 day suspension for writing on a desk and a 4 day suspension for taking a lolly from an open box of chocolates. There is no secrets here that the teachers literally can't be bothered with him. They personally don't like my son and this isn't just my opinion. This school just get rid of you at the drop of a hat if you pose any kind of a problem to them. So ridiculously unfair and unprofessional. No teaching or care going on here whatsoever."
