"Nice noodle shop ! Cosy and affordable price. Own by a Chinese The noodle is very original lar mein I had a beef noodle. Tender juicy beef brisket and my wife had a claypot rice noodle. Great chilly oil to go with our noodle. If you like noodle this is a great place. The serve generous portions."
"Mr Bun offers a good range of affordable Chinese food options. We came on the weekend and had free parking nearby. We decided to go for the Lanzhou styled braised beef noodle soup, both spicy and non-spicy versions. They both came out quickly and the portions were very generous. The thick noodles were good! The braised beef was tender with good flavour. Spicy soup was excellent (but no table water unfortunately so the spice added up). The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were what you'd expect. Overall, I'd recommend Mr Bun as a go-to option if you're craving no-nonsense and cheap Chinese food."
"This place is a gem! I recommend the thin noodles as they are very nice and the broth sticks to it well. The beef is so tender that you can cut it with the chop sticks in your hand."
"A simple place. No tralala. This is EXCELLENT. Yummy yummy. And enormous portion. A MUST to visit. My best cheap address in Perth. I go every week I am there. My preferred is the spicy beef noodles soup."
"How often have you walked past Mr Bun, located just past the East end of Murray Street mall? A non-pretentious and simple restaurant. It is the perfect, cheap and cheerful fix on a cold, rainy day. Parking is limited in the area. Order at the counter. Thick, in-house noodles were a lovely, springy texture. Thin noodles just as satisfying. A few pieces of frozen white fish completed the dish, although were lacking in both number and flavour. The preserved vegetables in broth made up for it. They are generous with their salt, which may be to your liking. It's a personal take although makes me wonder if the chef smokes. Serving sizes are generous to just right for a hungry adult. Service is no nonsense, help yourself and order at the counter. Could do with a water station, even if it is just a self-serve urn for tea or cold water."
