"Ive been here a couple of times ordered take away before and remember the wait was very long. Today I decided to have dinner on my own, first no soups ramen or noddles, ordered sake, vegetable tempura and sushi roll. No watered offered. Sake took about 15 minutes, and my tempura 45 minutes , sushi roll 50 minutes. I asked for water and no offer about more drinks or anything at all. There were only 2 other tables. Service average. Food was ok, I’ve had better. The ambiance is lovely though"

"We booked for 6pm and ordered at 6:15pm. Food didn’t come until 7:20pm. We talked to the person at the cashier as to why the order took so long and they told us they were just really busy, however not all seats/ tables were fully taken at that time. Waiter didn’t even offered us table water/drinks and went straight to asking what we wanted to order. Customer service at the time was just not really good. For the food, I ordered a Japanese Karaage Ramen and got an ‘instant noodle’ ramen. It wasn’t the best and for the price, there’s way more better restos than can do ramen at this price range. 2nd time back and it was way worse than my first time. P.S. if you like a casual bar to drink this may be it, but for a restaurant, just skip this."

"By far, the utmost disappointing Japanese restaurant I have been to in a very very long time. A group of 7 had booked for 6pm. We arrive and we have our order taken at 6:15. No table water was served or offered. We get two of 7 dishes come out in about 25 minutes. Sashimi and spider roll. We were left waiting another 40 minutes for 2 more Udons, 2 ramen, miso soup and a teriyaki salmon RICE dish. I was very frustrating to sit by and have other people offer their food because they felt bad the others were still waiting for their food. If you can’t take or handle bookings more than 5, don’t. If you are, roster more chefs on. By far the most ridiculous service I’ve had in a long time. The food was all so average and the ramen noodles were literally 2 minute noodles and the rice dice was the size of my palm."

"Fantastic place. The staff are super friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable eating on my own. The food was tasty and portion size was good. The sashimi was particularly good, thoroughly recommend."

"Hidden gem in the southern suburbs with tasty side dishes and mains. Highly recommend their soft shell crab, tastes way better than sushi train and its crumbed perfectly. Sashimi was also of high quality. Had good ambience with lots of decor that gave a Japan vibe. Side street parking is readily available. This place is a great choice when you want good quality Japanese food but can’t be stuffed travelling to the city."
