Welcome to Riverton Outdoor Pool - YMCA! Located along the Barrier Highway in beautiful Riverton, South Australia, our outdoor pool facilities offer a refreshing and enjoyable experience for all.

Our pool is open from 14 November 2022 to 31 March 2023, providing ample opportunity to beat the heat and make the most of the Australian summer. Whether you're looking for a place to cool off, swim laps, or simply relax by the water, Riverton Outdoor Pool has something for everyone.

For families, we offer a range of options to suit your needs. Our VACSWIM program, South Australia's longest-running summer holiday program, is designed to give children aged 5 to 13 years the confidence they need in and around water. Running from 9 January to 13 January 2023, these lessons provide valuable skills and promote water safety.

In addition, we offer swimming lessons for children aged between 3 and 12 years old. These lessons run in two 4-week blocks, allowing your child to develop their swimming abilities and build confidence in the water. The first block is from January 17th to February 7th, and the second block is from February 21st to March 14th. The cost for these classes is $16.50 per class, with upfront term payment of $66 required upon booking. Enrolled children also enjoy free swimming during the 4-week period.

Please note that the facility will not open if the forecast on eldersweather.com.au for Nuriootpa is 25C or below. The safety and comfort of our visitors is our top priority.

We also have special offers for families, with free admission to the pool on the last Saturday of every month. Family admission includes up to 5 admissions, with a maximum of 2 adults per family.
