"They have just lost customers due to them not getting back to me after leaving numerous messages about confirming a booking that I had made. Not a good way to treat customers: it makes you wonder how they treat our pets! My friend is also going elsewhere now in case it happens to her too. It's a shame as Amanda is such a good groomer. Reading his response below just proves his disregard for customers. Fortunately, there are plenty of other groomers around."

"I've been travelling from Golden Grove to have my dog groomed for 7 years, then 2 dogs for the last 4 years and book appointments a year in advance. Amanda the original was amazing and that's what kept us going. Unfortunately, she's now sold the business and it's never been the same, but I continued to go until this morning. They were booked in at 8.30am, I left home with plenty of time, traffic was slower and I called at 8.18 to say I was a few minutes away (left the voicemail) which I was at the time, and then there were 2 lots of bad traffic jams so I was then longer and arrived at 8.52 am made sure the dogs went to the toilet then walked in only to not be greeted when I said hello but "you said you were a few minutes away" I explained where I've travelled from and I can't control the traffic, to which I got that I can't do them so I put them in my car, then furious walked back in and said please cancel all future appointments and was giving the thumbs up. When I got home there was a text message to say they don't accept dogs after 20 mins, how do I read that when I'm driving - Worst customer service, I wish it was possible to do a negative star. Damn I miss Amanda and the rest of the other staff, the old customer service was fantastic!"

"They do a great job not only getting all the mats out, but also in specific cuts for different breeds."

"Took my 5 months old pup in for his first groom today and was a little worried at first. But Paws of Distinction did an awesome job, they were very nice and professional. When I picked up my pup, he was happily waiting for me, he looks great and smells wonderful :)"

"I have been bringing my VERY fluffy border collie to Amanda and Marlene for a couple of years now. I have always been floored at how spectacular she looks, her coat soft as silk, when she comes out of the salon. I have been through a few groomers in Adelaide, but no one else was able to do this with her coat. Lately my husband has been taking her to work with him and he mentioned that he can't walk 50 paces without someone commenting on how beautiful she is and how she is the softest dog they have ever met. You know how when you go to the hair dresser and they blow dry your hair in such a way that you can never match? This is what these guys can do with your dog. Don't waste your time with anyone else."
