"Curtin university is a strong growing university. I have had no problems with any lectures or staff (instead quite the opposite as they are all lovely and helping) and the environment is very warm and inviting. The only downside is the campus is known as a concrete jungle on the older buildings, with lack of greenery. However, there has been so much development on the north side of campus to fix this. 5 stars for the top side of Curtin, especially the new Curtin Exchange that has brought many new businesses with variety of food and drinks, and the new buildings are very well designed and built. Highly recommend"

"This university represents a modern day dacoit, legally done in 21st century in modern day Australia where no any victim will come forward to lodge a complaint, no ACCC, no ICAC,, what a great loot practice as the victims are International students & cant do anything. The deceiving practice starts from the beginning of getting a offer letter. The uni will do its best delaying offer letter, GTE approval near to semester start. Even if students get their GTE approval on time, pay thousands of dollars in fees on time on their bank account, then nothing till weeks, After weeks they will sent an email of deferral letter pushing the start date to next semester. Poor students could not even utter a word in a fear of loosing their COE & dream of studying in Australia. Those family of the students will pay the heavy interest of that student loan till next six, seven months for nothing & life's already hard & you can imagine what impact it will have on any family with this; already struggling families for better future of their loved ones. The uni can enjoy those millions of dollars for free till the next semester comes and again the next family gets victimised. If the uni cant enrol students, issue COE for semester on time for no reason then why should they ask the student to pay fees, which they are not getting enrolled to!!??. The story does not end here, The story only starts, The uni will try its best to fail the international students as possible as they can e.g. even their own system is not working at assignment due dates due to heavy traffic. The uni sees international students as a cash-cows, forget about the education. All they care is about the fees how they can rip off students and good thing is none can come forward to lodge a complaint. No one wants to leave their dream home Australia. Anyone looking to study in Australia avoid these uni or be prepared financially, emotionally and mentally & best of luck. i am lucky i am out of this institution with a new life but i want to warn others of these modern days pirates of Caribbean. "Graduated with Bachelor of Arts here. University is very clean, layout is very nice, the library has nap stations! Lecturers were hit and miss, Lee Ingram and Dan The Man (DFTF crew, represent!) went above and beyond while some lecturers demotivated students with their feedback. Also, did my study abroad to Japan and that was a wild 6 months I will never forget!"

"Very nice university. Full of undergrad and master students. Have diversified student communities. Nice guild restaurant. Rich lab facilities along with nice tech park. Love the place a lot. Long fields with grass to roam."
