About the Business
Welcome to O'Connor Vet, formerly known as South St Vet, part of the Sage Vets group. We recently decided to change our name due to the presence of three clinics on South St, which was causing confusion among our valued clients. However, rest assured that we are still the same vibrant team of dedicated professionals, committed to providing the best care possible for your beloved pets.
At O'Connor Vet, we bring a wealth of experience, modernity, and practicality to our veterinary services. Our main focus is on listening to you and understanding how we can assist you and your pets. In today's complex world of veterinary protocols, it's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture, but we remain dedicated to delivering personalized care that aligns with your needs and the needs of your furry friends.
Convenience is important to us, which is why we are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm, and on Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. You can find us at 5/364 South St, O'Connor, conveniently located on the corner of South St and Stockdale Road.
We proudly serve the pets of O'Connor, Hilton, Samson, Winthrop, Willagee, Palmyra, South Fremantle, Fremantle, Hamilton Hill, Coolbellup, and the surrounding areas. To book an appointment, simply give us a call at (08) 9314 7444. We can't wait to welcome you and your furry friend to O'Connor Vet.
Our consultation hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 6:30PM. You have the option to book your appointment online or speak with our friendly team. During your visit, our dedicated staff will give your pet a thorough check-up, listen to your concerns, and offer practical solutions to ensure your pet enjoys the best possible life.
Of course, we offer vaccinations for your pet. We provide early finish puppy vaccines, which not only ensure your pet's safety within the community but are also crucial for their development. These vaccines have been proven to be effective and reduce the number of vet visits and costs for your new puppy.
In addition to our veterinary services, we also stock a range of high-quality pet foods. We understand that navigating the extensive selection at big box pet stores can be overwhelming, so our friendly nurses are always available to provide helpful advice and guidance.
Our commitment to comprehensive pet care extends to offering a full suite of vaccinations. All our vaccination appointments include a thorough check-up with the vet to ensure your best friend is in optimal health before receiving their injection. We are flexible in tailoring the type and administration of vaccines based on the needs of different pets. Additionally, we offer titre testing as an alternative to routine annual vaccinations, allowing you to check your pet's protection levels.
At O'Connor Vet, we prioritize client-centered pet care, providing pragmatic and sensible advice. Pet owners in O'Connor and Hilton trust us to look after their beloved companions, as we are specialists dedicated to delivering the highest standard of veterinary care and affection.
Our clinic hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 8am to 6:30pm, Friday from 8am to 6:30pm, and Saturday from 8am to 12pm. We are closed on Sundays.
We look forward to serving you and your furry family members at O'Connor Vet.

"Great vets, always take really good care of our whippet, River, who loves going to the vet because they've made it so nice for her. Nurses are great. Vets are great. 5 stars (River said so)"

"I saw Dr Gerard with my dog some time ago. Throughout the consult he forgot my dogs name several times and referred to my dog as a female despite me correcting him each time. My dog underwent expensive tests and was put on expensive medication. I was told that he would need to take these meds for the rest of his life. The medication made no difference to the issues my dog was having. I have since seen an independent vet for a second opinion and they confirmed that my dog was incorrectly diagnosed with what they described as the latest fad diagnosis. The vet nurses are lovely but I don't trust the vet I saw and will never return."

"They were very good with the passing of my Millie. They even took her footprints and sent them to me with a nice card"

"The vets here are exceptional - so knowledgeable, caring and attentive. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they’re always happy to offer help, whether you’re visiting in person or just calling to get some advice. And after a visit, they always call the following day to check how your pet is going. Highly recommend."
