"Rude, judgemental service by the pharmacist. Went in tonight because my local pharmacy was closed and requested an over the counter sleep aid. He requested all of my details (something no other chemist requires for it) and then refused to give it to me as a prescription medication I took for a migraine once 10 days ago had the same ingredient - they would have happily sold me paracetamol though despite that also having the same ingredient as the prescribed medication! I explained that I hadn't purchased a box of the over the counter medication in over 6 months, I hadn't taken the prescription in 10 days, and I knew not to mix them. He said he would only give it if my doctor knew about it, and when I said he did, he demanded to know who my doctor was so he could call them in the morning. I asked why he felt the need to treat me like a drug seeking addict for not wanting to take the stronger prescription, and was again told he'd be calling my doctor. I have never felt so judged by a pharmacist for requesting such a standard over the counter product, and won't be going back there again."

"Terrible, judgemental and rude service. We were refused service when buying an off the shelf product for our two year old which has been prescribed by her paediatrician, all because the instructions say for four years and above. We explained the medical situation and gave the store the name of our paediatrician but we were still refused service. We had to travel another 30 minutes to another NP chemist who happily served us. Horrible judgmental service, we'll never go back."

"Prescriptions accepted and time estimate of 20mins given. I sought advice on a product and staff member said she had never seen what I asked for. Took me elsewhere for an alternative but none existed. After she left me I returned to the original location and found what I'd wanted all along. Prescriptions took 40 mins and the whole time I was fobbed of with " just a few minutes"," they're getting done now","they're being checked"! Finally at the pay station the old and obviously decrepit card machine took three tries to make it read my card for payment. If I could give less tha one star I would."

"I have been going to National Pharmacies for over 30 years, since I was a teenager with my Mum. Been to different Locations over the years and I can honestly say I've never once been disappointed with their attentiveness, knowledge, genuine care to assist, their product range or Member benefits. Membership is quite cheap and I often pay for it within 2 - 4 Transactions savings. We'll done."
