"had an issue which was clearly HBF's mishandling and instead of reticfying issue, the manager of Bunbury branch told me I had to deal with the problem and sort it our myself. Absolutely disgusted in his condesending manner and ignorance. thankfully someone helpful at the Perth city office helped with the issue and they resolved it themselves with a little effort! thanks guys at Perth Office but a very big thumbs done to the douche managing the Bunbury HBF. Almost left HBF."

"Really poor service and attitude from the Perth team. I changed my policy to a higher level with them a while ago and then I tried to finally claim and found out I couldn’t, because they haven’t updated the system. I have since spent hours trying to sort it out on the phone and online. Thinking I was getting somewhere with the complaints team, they decided not to call me back. Hbf had paid the provider and not me, after sending Hbf the invoice I had already paid the provider in full. Which I notify them about and no phone call back again. After about 10 different phone calls and online chats I was left extremely frustrated to the point that I am going to change health insurance providers. A combination of HBF team members changing their stories or not knowing the rules, giving attitude and matching wits with me has lead me to believe this company does not care about its customers. After getting nowhere it has taken 3 & 1/2 weeks to get to a point where I am finally getting the refund, which I was originally told I would get. As if they are doing me a huge favour. Sometimes spending hours on the phone and online chats you would think compensation for the customer would be a fair option? Not HBF, all you get is a bad attitude from Stephanie and no phone call that was promised from the manager called Guy. Who might contact me next week but is very busy with meetings. Think again if you think you will get a decent service from these guys. If the complaints department is anything to go by, I would just take your business elsewhere."
