"Ordered the lamb souvlaki, and I have to say its the best souvlaki I have had in the whole of Australia. The lamb was bbq'd over coals, was tender and just devine. Beautiully presented, wish I took a photo, but I could not resist and dug straight into it. All the staff there were just brilliant and always smilling. Give this place a go, you won't repent it. Cheers"
"Loved the starting Pelmati Dumplings with 3 different sauces, then the Duck with cherries, followed by a great Apple Pie. Food lovely, great staff and a wonderful and surprising ambiance. Hidden gem !!"
"Dining in over several nights with my 89 year young mother we had to opportunity to have most dishes on the menu. Each dish was superbly cooked, seasoned and of generous quantity. The menu though small is interesting and varied. Service is so friendly and accommodating and very efficient. I would highly recommend the Parador Inn to everyone local to the area or those travelling through."
"My recreational bike rides sometimes take me down Tapleys Hill Road, alongside the airport. Lately there's been one of those trailer-mounted LED signs outside the Parador Motel advertising its restaurant, and my wife and I decided to give it a try. Of course, if we weren't happy with the food, we'd simply strike it off our list. So what was the outcome? On the spot, we booked for ten for the family get-together on Easter Monday. I'm no gastronomic expert. I don't know the words to describe the nuances in flavour in fine foods. But my taste buds work well enough for me to decide whether I like a dish or not, and whether I like it a little or like it a lot. In this instance, I liked it a lot. The salad, the garlic prawns, the Spanish meat balls, and the apple pie were all superb. And not only in taste; the food was also well presented and delivered to the table with a beaming smile (a Ukrainian smile, I was told, which was another plus). Usually I sample my wife's choices and I can say that her barramundi tasted very nice (we shared the entrees), but I can't say anything about the taste of her chocolate dessert because she jealously guarded every morsel of it. All that I can say, in the most plaintive of voices, is that it looked very good. Our selections from the menu (three courses each for two people) cost $104, which I consider to be great value for money. Yes, we'll be back."
"We have stayed at the Parador quite a few times and on several occasions have had meals in the dining room. Each time we have had a lovely experience. The meals have been perfect. Not just in the way they were cooked but also the presentation. The staff were wonderful. Cheerful and pleasant to talk to which really make the stay a lovely experience."
