"Good selection for difficult feet. Staff helpful. Called "Stride" on maps but business now "taos Footware". Not cheap, although they do have a table of reduced priced shoes. Had to exchange sandals brought in for me (that I had already paid for) & as they were $10 cheaper, I was given a store credit; staff said they couldn't do a refund."
"Were very friendly, informed and helpful. Helped me pick out some great shoes and figured out the perfect fit on 2 occasions. Will return."
"After buying few shoes from the Subiaco store, I will not be returning to this store again after this experience. Have had few bad experiences but latest takes the cake. Enter at 650pm to be told they will close at 7pm and “they will not stay back”. Firstly I was not planning on staying past 7pm and the only reason we were there that late was because their website shows open til 8pm! I told her this and she said yeh we have asked them to update it several times. As I pick up a shoe the lady mentions they are a fitting store you need time to make the right fit. Pointing out that they are $300 shoes and I shouldn’t be rushing to buy $300 pair of shoes. If she is so annoyed at people coming in at 6.50 then maybe their closing time should state 6.50, not 7pm! Walking out of the store with another customer, she also said that she felt very uncomfortable with the service and felt she was rude."
"It is genuinely difficult to tell if this business is incompetent or fraudulent. I paid over $400 for two pairs of shoes. When they didn't arrive after a couple of weeks and I hadn't heard from them, I called to see what was going on. The lady explained to me that she had marked my order as 'fraudulent' based on the name of my email provider. They took the money, cancelled the shoes, and did not make any attempt to contact me. I don't think they understand what 'fraudulent' means. It definitely doesn't mean 'withholding goods from customers who have already paid.' I was promised a refund within about five days. It is now ten says later, no money has arrived, and no-one is picking up the phone. The email address gives bounce notifications. Unbelievably bad."
"Not impressed with this company. I am still waiting for a refund on shoes that were unavailable, though according to their website they were in stock. I have waited 8 business days for this refund so lodged a dispute with my bank."
