"Dr Claire Hill-Smith First she kept interrupting me saying “yeah yeah” every 20 seconds. Then I explained my medications that I’ve been on that are on the records she has received, for 15+ years. Refused to give me a repeat as per the past as she wants to investigate the reported on issue I have had since my accident in 2007. She can see it is an ongoing claim, that I have myself reduced the amount of medication but still wants me to spend time I don’t have, to go and get new scans, xrays, pain specialists that I have done in the past repeatedly. Spent most of the appointment telling me why I shouldn’t be on the medication, wanted to discuss all what I have and haven’t done which took so much time, which my records would show, that we don’t have enough time to talk about my other concern. I’ve asked for and signed for all my records to be sent across. I made a list of what I needed to discuss including a serious pain that is new. She told me she didn’t have time but then charged me for a double appointment… will now need to book another appointment to get help for an issue that could have been discussed in the “double appointment” I paid extra for. Then I had to wait another 10 mins before she would send out the account for me to pay… time better spent seeing and helping your patient. Not impressed at all and will not be back."

"Fabulous service! Attended SJ Urgent Care after accidentally cutting my finger on broken glass. From booking in to leaving was less than half an hour and cost $100 in total, including follow up appointment the following week. All staff I met were wonderful and very caring. For those able to pay the $100 it is a fantastic alternative to waiting hours in an overstretched hospital ED. Because of those that can't, I would like to see the forthcoming pointless referendum money spent instead on improved healthcare for all people."
