"Open to bullies. Wanted to join, having done a little BJJ and Judo from elsewhere. Got into Newaza (wrestling) with then brown belt. He eventually got me and so I tapped and kept doing so. BUT he didn't let go and choked me unconscious. Didn't apologise. Told head coach and he just said, "it happens". Throughout he kept bragging about how strong he was when he competed and loved putting me on the spot even though it was my first day there. Not a safe place, not friendly to guests or beginners or anyone outside their circle."
