About the Business
Welcome to Bullsbrook Community Kindergarten! Located at 25 Caporn Street in Bullsbrook, Australia, our establishment is a point of interest and a school that offers an alternative to on-site state school based kindergartens.
At Bullsbrook Community Kindergarten, we operate from purpose-built facilities and playgrounds that are leased from the local government. Our teachers are appointed by the Department of Education, and the kindergartens are managed by parent committees in cooperation with teachers and the local community.
We believe in providing a smooth transition to formal schooling, and therefore, children must turn four years of age by June 30 to start kindergarten at the beginning of the school year. Our community kindergartens are committed to facilitating this transition while also offering a nurturing and supportive environment for your child's early education journey.
We have a dedicated team of teachers who go above and beyond for each child who attends our kindergarten. Ms. Mac has been with us for 12 years and loves being creative with the kiddliwinks. She works alongside the teachers to bring a variety of activities and fun to the kindy. Mrs. Williams, on the other hand, has been a teacher at BCK for 12 years and has transformed the kindy into an amazing learning environment. She strongly advocates for the importance of play-based learning and hands-on experiences to develop the whole child.
This year, we are fortunate to have Ms. Hofman as our DOTT (Dance, Occupational, and Therapeutic Techniques) teacher, who takes the kids every Wednesday. Ms. Hofman brings many years of experience and enjoys teaching using lots of fun and hands-on experiences.
Rest assured that all our teachers are qualified, as they are employed by the Department of Education & Training (DET) and teach the same curriculum as government-run kindergartens. The voluntary contribution at Bullsbrook Community Kindergarten is the same as with government-run kindergartens. However, there may be additional contributions requested for incursions and excursions.
Choosing Bullsbrook Community Kindergarten for your child will not affect their acceptance or non-acceptance to the government school you choose for pre-primary. The kindy your child attends is not a consideration during the school's application process.
We believe in the importance of parental involvement and support in early education. While it is not compulsory to participate in the running of the kindy, the CK concept relies on strong parental support. Research shows that children with actively involved and supportive parents have better outcomes as they grow. Therefore, we encourage parents to be actively involved in their child's education journey.

Reviews
"My wife is the teacher at this kindergarten and she is the most amazing, devoted teacher. She gives up many hours of her own time to provide and outstanding learning programme for the children who attend the kindy. She works closely with her Education Assistant to ensure that the children have a caring environment that offers them a safe place to learn, a safe place to challenge themselves and a safe place for them to make mistakes. Her play based learning environment provides the children a variety of learning experiences and caters for every child. The teaching staff at this kindergarten are actively involved in the community and participate in many public events. They work closely with other community groups offering a range of services for families especially in early childhood. This kindy is well worth a visit and the staff are more than happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have."
"This is a brilliant Kindy. All the teachers and education assistants are very passionate about the children they have. They take the time to help develope the childrens learning and turning them from shy little people into proud and confident little people. I am very impressed with the learning modules they have taught my daughter. My daughter would always ask me when she woke up in the morning whether she gets to go to her kindy today. We will miss this place. All the very best for the future. I highly recommend Bullsbrook Community Kindy."
