"I would give zero stars if possible. A1 built a pool for us which started to quickly discolour and become patchy - I approached them to rectify the issue, and was told it had occurred as the pool was not acid washed at time of construction as they do not provide this as a standard part of their product. At no point was an acid wash offered as an extra by A1 Pools, and at no point were we advised the pool would look patchy and discoloured if it was not acid washed. I asked them to come and look at the state of the pool. The owner, Vic, came and looked and I asked if, based on the poor appearance of their work, would they meet the cost of the acid wash, and he agreed - when I followed up to make the date for the work to be done, I am told he did NOT agree to meet the cost!!! My husband and I both heard him agree! This is outrageous conduct by a company that provides a poor finished product and takes no responsibility for their actions or lack thereof. Do not use this company - there are many others available, and of a random six I have contacted, all advised acid washing is provided as standard in their product.
