One of the highlights of our library is the multitude of activities and events that we organize throughout the year. This provides an opportunity for book enthusiasts to come together, share their thoughts, and delve into the literary world.
For parents and babies, we offer a fun-filled session of singing, clapping, and dancing. This interactive session aims to nurture your baby's pre-literacy skills through songs and action rhymes. Similarly, we have a session designed for parents and toddlers, where they can engage in lively singing, clapping, and dancing, while learning action rhymes and songs that contribute to their child's pre-literacy development.
As an institution, we also acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of this Country. We honor the Elders, both past and present, and recognize their significant contributions to our community.

"Dose anyone notice the crazy opening hours like no other library has openings hours like that, it’s a really good small community library."
"Staff were fantastic and happy to help. Computer access was good. Great place to relax with a book or study."
"I used to love this library BUT for the life of me cannot understand why the staff are unable to learn to use their check-in shelf correctly. On 9 separate occasions in the last 8 weeks (with different staff each time) the item has been put back on the shelf without it being checked in after being collected from the out-of-hours drop-off bins and days later I'm either back in there or on the phone trying to unravel their incompetence. Every time I go to the check-in shelf it's offline and human intervention is required. So, if anyone from BCC is reading this, TRAIN YOUR STAFF and sort out your technology (have written to you and was told I'd get a response but to date hearing crickets). To any potential users, DO NOT PUT YOUR BOOKS IN THE DROP OFF BINS + make sure the check-in shelf is working when you drop them off. To the staff - WAKE UP! 6/12/2022 - Arrived to find a staff member unloading a cart of books onto the check-in shelf that wasn’t working (again). When alerted to the problem she was not exactly gracious. 31/12/2022 - Arrived to find the shelf not working despite a staff member insisting that I put it on the shelf, then snatching the book from me and huffing and puffing as they attempted (and failed) to check the book in correctly. Seriously - attitude adjustment required."
"Love this little gem. Very great service, atmosphere and selection of books. Even though it is your smaller sized library, I think the quality is amazing. I have spent many many days studying for hours in this place! Seriously not exaggerating. I have stayed there from open-close. I've tried studying in other libraries around Brisbane and like studying in cafes but something about this place just makes me feel so comfortable and motivated. The wifi is really great as well hahaha. Their facilities are frequently updated and inclusive. For example, they have many ramps, even a little lift for those in need, computers suited for all ages with features like touch screen, specific lighting and sound sensitivity for young ones and the icing on the cake are the really the attentive staff. They are always so patient, helpful and welcoming. Because the location is really close to many schools, public transport and the Nundah Village, I think it's a really great 'safe haven' for parents to have their kids stay until they can pick them up. I always see many little kids stay there after school and feel so comfortable. So glad we have this in lovely Nundah."
"Great, very great. Even enjoy the library. Fiction and non fiction. I would encourage many to pay a visit. The greatness, joy of the surroundings are amazing. DVD'S and books, with computers are just extraodinary!!! Employees and staff are so, so helpful and in need they are about(s)."
