Resilience is a key aspect of our work. We believe that resilience is the power that supports us in getting through tough times and the ability to cope with and recover from setbacks. This is especially important for the 62% of people with dementia whose main language is not English and the 36% of care attendees in residential aged care who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

We are also actively involved in supporting the mental health community. Fortis is currently fundraising to support the Mental Health Foundation Australia, with all funds raised going towards the development of youth suicide prevention programs. We are proud ambassadors for this cause and are excited to be participating in the National Walk for Mental Health.
