Welcome to Merriwa Education Support Centre, located at 67 Baltimore Parade, Merriwa, Australia. Our institution is a point of interest and an establishment that is dedicated to providing quality education and support to students in need.

We are thrilled to announce that Merriwa Primary School has been selected to participate in an inaugural leadership program, initiated by His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia, and Mrs Darrilyn Dawson. This program aims to develop and nurture leadership skills among our students, preparing them for a successful future.

In addition, we are excited to inform you that our year 2 to 5 students will be starting dancing lessons with Humphries Dance Studio next term. These lessons will run from Week 1, starting on the 21st of July, until Week 10, concluding on the 22nd of September (excluding the faction carnival on the 1st of September).

Merriwa Primary School will also be celebrating Book Week during Week 9 of this term, from Monday 18th September to Thursday 21st September. We kindly request your assistance in locating 165 missing library books. If you have any borrowed books at home, we would greatly appreciate it if you could bring them back to our library this week. Your support is invaluable to us.

We are incredibly proud to announce that after our Public School Review last term, Merriwa Primary School has received the highest possible rating in all aspects of our school. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, and staff.

Please note that the front office is available for any inquiries regarding RAT Tests. Additionally, we are required by the Department of Education to seek your approval for your child to use online services at school. We encourage you to support this, as it will allow your child to access the technology and teaching programs we provide at Merriwa Primary School.

To ensure the safety and security of our students, all gates are locked. However, a staff member will be available at the back gate every day at 10.30am to collect lunches and other items that need to be dropped off at school.

Our library is open for additional times for Lexile book borrowing. You can visit the library on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8.00am to 8.20am, as well as from 2.40pm to 4.00pm.

We kindly remind all students to bring their water bottles every day so that they can refill them at the fountains. Additionally, please note that our school playgrounds are closed before and after school due to cleaning procedures.

Lastly, we extend our gratitude to the parents who have already paid their Voluntary Contributions. If you have not yet made your contribution, payments can be made at the school office or through direct deposit.
